HUBRIS

Hello,PERIMETER PRONOUNCE RS,THE WAY WE USE LANGUAGE IN PARTICULAR WORDS ,SEEM TO BE A FORM OF STYLISHNESS ,AND WORDS DUG UP FROM THE VERY PITS OF THE DICTIONARY,ARE BROUGHT TO OPEN USE,ONE SUCH WORD [HUBRIS],THIS WORD WAS USED IN TWO RECENT HISTORICAL MOVIES.

I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE WORD UNTIL THEN,BUT IT WILL STAY WITH ME FOR QUITE SOME TIME.
IT MEANS 'TO BE NAIVE,OR FOOLISH DUE TO LACK OF TACTICS.
BUT LETS NOT OVERKILL IT,AND FIND MORE,HUBRIS,WORDS.FRONZ/5/DEC/07

Remember, it's only hubris if you should fail.
Hubris is a word used by people who haven't the ability or the guts, to stand for what they believe. They would rather watch somebody attempt the impossible with hopes that they fail. It's another persons failure that makes people feel good.
It's someone else's success that people despise.
Never, never give up. The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end there it is.
