PERIMETER POODLES , HERE IN SAULT CANADA IN THE SIXTIES THE SUMMERS WERE GORGEOUS , AND A THEATER , THE PRINCESS THEATER , WOULD HOST A SATURDAY AFTERNOON MONSTER MOVIE FEST.
ALL THE GREAT JAPANESE MONSTERS WERE PLAYED BACK TO BACK , KONG , GODZILLA , OR WHATEVER THE JAPANESE SCI-FI DREAMED UP.
SO OUR MOTHERS WOULD PACK US A LUNCH , TO SAVE MONEY , AND FOR TEN CENTS YOU SPENT SOMETIMES EIGHT HOURS , IN TOTAL PRE-TEEN PANDEMONIUM .
AT THE MID POINT , THE THEATER OWNER , A MR. CARTMILL , [ I REALLY DON'T THINK MR. CARTMILL MADE A PENNY ON SATURDAY , I THINK HE DID IT CAUSE HE ENJOYED THE MOVIES , AND HE WAS BIG THAT WAY, HE DID IT CAUSE HE COULD.]
WELL MR. CARTMILL WOULD HAVE A BREAK HALFTIME , WHERE HE WOULD DO MAGIC TRICKS , HAVE ALL KIND OF FREE DRAWS , AND ANTICS .
THAT'S A LOOK AT A CLASS ACT , AND PAST.
THAT'S THE CANADA I WANT TO REMEMBER .
GIANFRANCO FRONZI. MARCH5 /2011 P. S. MR. CARTMILL IS PAST AWAY . G.B.H.S
