The Lion and the Lifeboat

Perimeter pictures .
Let's create a rare situation .
Your on a cruise ship in the middle of the Pacific Ocean .
On this cruise ship there's a mini circus , with animal acts .
The ship hits a freak storm , and your found alone in a wooden life boat .
You see a huge male Lion paddling towards you .
There's not much you can do , so this huge animal with it's agility climbs onto the boat .
It lays down and passively looks out to sea .
Do you know why i say it does this , because the lion isn't stupid , it knows your his only hope , he failed oceanic lifeboat training , also it is a pack mammal , it believes that an effort by a group is better than a single effort .
After days of you two basically ignoring each other , a bird flying low comes by , the Lion with an astounding leap swipes the bird hard onto the floor of the boat , killing it instantly .
The lion then lays beside the bird , and stares out to sea .
It now thinking about survival again .
Do you know what you would do at this point ? Please tell us , because i know what the Lion will do .
